About Lucio's Pizzeria
The original owner of Lucio’s, Claudio Merlo, grew the restaurant over 22 years and transformed it from a small seven-table establishment to a homely 140-seater Italian restaurant. This family atmosphere encourages guests to socialize and interact with the staff.
Current owners, Bimba and Armando, have kept true the homely atmosphere created by Claudio. The mother-and-son partnership inspires family time and excellence in food and service.
The menu consists of antipasti and salads, pizzas, pastas, pasts al forno and la carne. Starters include baked feta, carpaccio, chicken livers, chorizo, mushrooms, mussels napoletana, roated tomatoes and snails. There is a variety of pizzas to choose from such as the former owner-named pizza, Claudio Special, or create your own pizza with an assortment of toppings. Pastas include the well-known Alfredo to the delicious Crème Salmon. Pasta al forno are baked pastas which includes an all-favourite beef lasagne. For the meat-eater, try some tasty lamb cutlets or veal genvovese, and so much more.

From OR Tambo International Airport:• Take exit 46 on the right to merge onto the R24 toward Johannesburg;
• After 8.4 km, take the exit onto the R24;
• After 1.7 km, take exit 113 for the N3 S/N12 toward the M2/Kimberley/Geermiston/Durban;
• Merge onto the N12/N3 and travel for 3.7 km;
• Take exit 108-Geldenhuys toward Germiston;
• Keep right at the fork and follow signs for the M2/Johannesburg and merge onto Francios Oberholzer Freeway/M2;
• Travel for 10.4 km;
• Take exit 10 to merge onto the M1 toward Sandton/Pretoria;
• Take the exit toward the R55;
• Merge onto Empire Road;
• Exit onto Barry Hertzog Avenue;
• After 2.5 km, turn left onto Judith Road;
• After 1.6 km, turn right onto Beyers Naudé Drive/M5 and your destination will be on the left.
