About Cafe Mao

Try delectable Asian fusion cuisine in this trendy but comfortable restaurant in the bustling City Bowl area.

The interior is invigorating and funky with Andy Warhol-inspired prints of the infamous and famous Mao and Monroe. This visual feast is greatly complemented by extremely flavourful food assembled in original, well-presented dishes.

The dishes come with a variety of 'chilli factors' and if you're a lover of hot stuff, you will enjoy the Chilli Lime Beef - a word of warning though, it is not for the faint-hearted.

Service is quick, attentive and personalized and the owner is hands-on and extremely hospitable and friendly.

If it is strong flavours and upbeat surroundings you are looking for, Mao is the place to visit. Whether you are in the mood for a quick meal or a lengthy, social get-together, you will not be dissappointed.
