About Welmoed

Granted in 1690 to Simon van der Stel, Welmoed has since been a respectable producer of fine wines.

The Welmoed range includes a good variety that places emphasis on quality over price. Guests will always be welcome at the cellar door. If you're in the area, drop in for a sample of the wines. There is also an on-site restaurant, The Duck Pond, where you can dine on a country-inspired menu, made from the freshest locally-sourced produce.

Wine tasting and sales:
Monday-Friday 09:00 to 17:30;
Saturday 09:00 to 17:00;
Sunday 10:00 to 16:00.
