About Agung Rai Museum of Art
The Agung Rai Museum of Art is an inspiring combination of art gallery, museum and cultural centre offering an experience of Balinese traditions and culture. Highlights include traditional gamelan orchestras, Balinese dance performances, woodcarvings, Kamasan paintings, textiles and traditional cuisine.
The museum's vast art collection includes works by renowned artists Walter Spies, Raden Saleh, Lempad, Affandi, Sadali, Hofker, Bonnet and Le Mayeur. Amazing art workshops on offer range from Balinese painting classes and lectures to gamelan music workshops, traditional dance, and batik and woodcarving courses.
