About Adansonia Eco Lodge

Adansonia Eco Lodge is a spectacular destination for everyone interested in the outdoors, hiking, trees and geography, wildlife, birding, photography, bow hunting, 4x4s and ecology. If chilling out far away from the city's maddening crowds is your thing, you will feel right at home.

At Adansonia Eco Lodge we provide an enriching, value-for-money, once in a lifetime bushveld experience for individuals, couples, families, and groups of maximum 16 people. Our establishment is also pet-friendly and we welcome well-behaved companion animals who wish to accompany their owners with open arms.

Apart from the four log cabins, the communal area provides a dining room with an indoor braai area in case it rains, a kitchen, bar area, swimming pool with a wooden deck, braai area and a lapa. All of these areas have breathtaking views over the Limpopo valley and its big-mama baobabs.

The swimming pool at the Adansonia Eco Lodge is a feature in itself. Situated on the edge of a wooden deck, the views from the pool are spectacular. Deckchairs are provided for those who prefer a nap to anything more strenuous.

During your stay at Adansonia you will enjoy the company of a wide variety of wildlife, including kudu, njala, waterbuck, giraffe, zebra, blue wildebeest, impala, jackal and warthog just to mention a few, and let’s not forget the abundance of the bird life. Most importantly though, peace and quiet will surround you.

Please note that it is highly recommended that guests use a high-rise vehicle or 4x4 to access the property.

Self-catering:
If you wish to bring your own food along, you are welcome to do so. The chef will then still be available to braai/cook/serve it for you at the rate of R 250 per day. There is a limited bar menu available (couple of beers, wines, and spirits), so it may be a good idea to bring along your own preferred drinks.

Child Policy:
Whilst Adansonia Eco Lodge welcomes children of all ages on the farm, parents should take note that they will have to take extra special care of their little ones (especially babies and toddlers under the age of 7). Children will have to be watched as the steps and the swimming pool (among other areas) may be dangerous. Children under the age 7 are accommodated free of charge.

Pet Policy:
Anyone who has had to leave their bundles of joy behind when going away on holiday, knows how easy it is to spend your precious time away worrying about them and how hard it is to enjoy the vacation without them. As animal lovers ourselves, we understand your need to bring your pet along on your well-deserved break. As such, Adansonia Eco Lodge welcomes any pets that are well-behaved and willing to ‘play nice’ with our resident doggies.

The whole place is in a state of dis-repair. Some issues are small and not dangerous e.g. cracked mirror in the bedroom, toilet seat loose etc but other issues are dangerous e.g. floor around swimming pool
