The promenade also has a large entertainment area with putt-putt, a water slide, a heated Olympic-size swimming pool and a tidal pool. For the shoppers there is Somerset Mall with its 240 stores and for the golfers, Strand Golf Course offers an 18-hole course close to the False Bay beaches. The Hottentots Holland Nature Reserve is perfect for those who love to hike and has approximately 1300 species of fynbos.
