
About Black Horse Lodge
Black Horse Lodge is located just outside Vryheid on the R69 near Ithala Game Reserve. The lodge is seven minutes away from town central town. The local shopping caters for all needs with all banks, chain supply-stores and amenities. There are activities on site which guests can take part in, such as fishing, horse-riding, birding or hiking. 24 hour security on site as well as a full-bouquet DSTV. A scrumptious breakfast is included with all bookings. We have four room types, Standard, Executive Suits, Family Units and Self-Catering Units. We have a fantastic chef who serves excellent cuisine which cuts across all cultures.
Spa: We have an on site spa, facials and nail manicure can be arranged on request.
Wedding Venues: The wedding venue facilities accommodates a minimum of 10 up to a max of 800 people. Garden wedding facilities are available. The main hall has a kitchen and toilets. We provide a marquee as well for weddings.
Family friendly: There is a huge open space for children's activities since the lodge has a total area of 23ha, there is 24hr security on site. Nanny's can be organised and be paid extra.
Romantic: There are two dams on site and beautiful mountains view. The Lodge is outside town located in a private area whereby couples can enjoy a peaceful environment. There is a braai facility, fireplace and horse riding for couples to explore.

Payment should be made prior to arrival or on arrival before check in. We accept the following cards, Visa, MasterCard, Debit cards and Credit cards. Unfortunately, cheques are not accepted. If an EFT is done a proof of payment should be emailed to the manager's email.
