About Blackwoods Farm Cottage

Blackwoods Farm Cottage is a delightful two bed-roomed cottage, situated on Blackwoods farm (7km from Fouriesburg and 26km from Clarens) with farm animals grazing outside and beautiful, scenic mountain views. The farm is off the Grid and powered only by solar energy and is supplied with fresh Maluti mountain water. This is the ideal getaway for those in love with the outdoors.
The Farm Cottage has an open-plan design to ensure that the feeling of the spacious outdoors fill into the cottage itself. There are two bedrooms, (main bedroom with Queen bed and second bedroom with 2 single beds) each with a wardrobe. . The lounge has a wood burning fireplace and looks out over the rolling hills of the farm valley.
The kitchen is well equipped for self catering with fridge, stove, microwave, dining table, crockery cutlery, kettle etc.
Blackwoods Farm Cottage is surrounded by nature's finest such as horses, cattle, sheep, river, mountains, hiking, fantastic views, and most importantly peace and quiet. Please be mindful that it is on a 2km farm road, please drive slowly.

The cottage was perfect with all the facilities required. Nice fire in the evening to keep warm and many things to do during the day from hiking up the mountain or to the river and interacting with the animals. We took so many pictures. My daughter even rose early before the sun to take some pictures. Thank you for a lovely weekend. The biggest bonus was no television or Wifi.Louis

Lovely setting on a working farm with all the required amenities and lovely views. My daughter loved walking around and seeing all the farm animals. The cottage has a lovely wood burning fireplace with ample wood provided for those chilly winter evenings. Easy drive to Fouriesburg, Clarens or Lesotho. Loved our time and will be back.
