The cottage boasts three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen and a living area. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and a double sleeper couch with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin. The other two bedrooms both offer queen-size bed and both the second and third bathrooms are fitted with a bath, shower and double vanity.

The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, basic cutlery and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. There is a dining table with chairs.

The living area is furnished with a lounge suite and a flat-screen TV and glass doors lead onto a wooden deck offering outdoor furniture, braai facilities, and a swimming pool. There is also a spacious sky boma with a fire pit.

Game-viewing vehicles can be booked at an additional cost and guests also have access to the communal swimming pool, squash court, tennis court, jumping pillow, and kids play area, all within 1 km from Davison Bush Cottage.

There is also an ATM, coffee shop and little farm shop inside the nature reserve.

There is secure on site parking and free wifi.

Important Information

The remaining balance for the accommodation is payable two weeks before stay and any extras and the refundable deposit is payable 48 hours prior to arrival.
We are 100% self-catering and we do not supply toiletries. Cleaning services can be arranged at an additional cost. Mabalingwe Nature Reserve's Body Corporate requires the following:
Guest to pay a refundable deposit (R3000) and all documentation to be completed namely: an indemnity form, vehicle hire agreement which is applicable only to guests hiring our open safari vehicle at an extra charge. Guest's vehicle registration numbers, numbers of occupants per vehicle and time of arrival to be supplied for owners to ensure Access for guests at the main security gate of Mabalingwe. All these must be supplied 48 hours prior to arrival together with the Proof of Payment for the refundable deposit. We refund the deposit within 24 hours of check-out if all is in order.
We accommodate a maximum of eight people and should this be exceeded; access will be denied without a refund. Mabalingwe has a strict noise policy and levy hefty fines should there be a call out to quiet guests. DSTV Premium is an extra charge of R40 per day.
