This log cabin uses gas and solar energy and comprises an open-plan layout. It is equipped with a queen-size bed. The unit has an en-suite bathroom with a composting toilet and a shower. A gas geyser provides hot water. Next to the bed is a kitchenette with a solar-powered fridge, a one-plate stove, and a variety of cutlery and crockery.

Complimentary tea, coffee and sugar are provided upon arrival. The unit has a Weber braai on the veranda for use with briquettes only due to fire risk. Guests can follow the hiking trail along the river and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Guests can also enjoy stargazing on cloudless nights.
