Have a sundowner on your rooms’ balcony, and gaze over the Game Reserve with Jackals howling or lions roaring as nature’s own soundtrack.
Celebrate your wedding in our Chapel, or have a garden wedding. Conferencing is available in one of our venues. We cater for conferences and meetings, up to 400 people, with both full day and half day packages. Make use of one of our other venues for your functions, including- but not limited to: birthdays, pageants, launches etc. visit the Cradle of Humankind, Magaliesburg, or Hartebeespoort Dam, using our organized tours, or by yourself. There is a lot of unused space, they add Activities in those unused spaces like games, extra swimming pools for people to have fun. The place is good for weddings, parties and events but not for vacation. The rooms are dull, TV it's only Sabc channels not Dstv, beds are uncomfortable. But their prices are fair for the place.

What i loved, hospitality & break fast. what to improve...Communication among the staff, Network connection on all the rooms, free Wifi connection. there was a miscommunication regarding the room I've booked for & ended up being book to the most unpleasant room, with no hot water & also couldn't swim the water was not clean enough...

My wife and I booked the lodge for the first few days of our honeymoon. It was a very pleasant experience. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. The room was immaculate and the cleaning service very prompt and reliable everyday. They were very respectful of our privacy, whilst at the same time being there to cater to our every whim. I would highly recommend Golden Sands Lodge. The only complaint I have was a very minor one relating to a understandable problem. The wifi in my room was very unreliable, but bear in mind this was during a week of heavy rainstorms, lightening...

Our stay was very peaceful and Tranquil, the Deluxe room was very comfortable and warm, as it was a very cold weekend.Thomas the waiter made our stay very enjoyable, he looked after us and always had a smile. the food was not so great too over cooked. but overall a very lovely weekend. thank you Joy & Billy Mc Ferren
