The outstanding new Greenmarket Place in the middle of suave & trendy Cape Town City Centre (2km from the V&A Waterfront & the 2010 World Cup Soccer Stadium) is 6 storeys high, in revamped building situated right on the famous bustling historic Greenmarket Square with its flea market, shops and museum, looking out onto the flea market and with a magnificent full-frontal view of Table Mountain.

It is a stone’s throw from the CBD’s office towers, restaurants, coffee shops, internet cafes, antique shops & art galleries, the world-famous Mandela-Rhodes Place development and winery, the historic Government Lane & Company Gardens botanical gardens with huge museum, The Houses of Parliament, The Castle of Good Hope, The Bo-Kaap & Malay Quarter, trendy De Waterkant, lively Long Street with its vibey shops & throbbing night life, relaxing St Georges Mall, Adderley Street, Van Riebeeck Square, & Cape Town International Convention Centre.

The in-house facilities include a reception, state-of-the-art 24-hr security & 24-hr concierge, CCTV, video intercom for viewing visitors, gym, glorious roof-top swimming pool with full-frontal view of Table Mountain and the whole city, & lifts.The Apartments are 3-Star quality (not graded), modern, pleasant, spacious, self-servicing & self-catering and non-smoking.

The 1-bedroom apartment consists of 1 bedroom with queen-size bed, lounge/dining room with 2 double sleeper couches (pull-out sofa beds), fully equipped self-catering open-plan granite kitchen, bathroom with bathtub & overhead shower, pleasant scenic front balcony and reserved under-cover parking bay. The 2-bedroom apartment consists of 2 bedrooms (1 queen-size & 2 single beds), lounge/dining room with 2 double sleeper couches (pull-out sofa beds), fully equipped self-catering open-plan granite kitchen, main en-suite bathroom with bathtub & overhead shower, second en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, pleasant scenic front balcony and reserved under-cover parking bay.

Both apartments have free Internet/Wi-Fi, TV with free M-Net & DSTV Hotel Bouquet ("Cable TV") and they are furnished in uncluttered minimalist style.Please note that “Greenmarket Place” has no reception. You will have to collect your keys from our office at the Centurion All Suite Hotel in Sea Point. Please note that guests arriving after 20:00 on the day of arrival are subject to a late arrival fee (R300).

The promotional low rates herein, are subject to surcharges related to very short stays and high number of persons sharing.

The promotional low daily rates include for 2 adults in main bedroom and 1 child under 13 or 1 adult, thereafter surcharge applies on daily rate. Children of 13 years and older, are classed as adults. (Surcharge per extra adult = + 34%, per extra child = + 17%)

Stays shorter than 5 nights, are subject to an additional surcharge on the low promotional daily rates. (Surcharge for only 4 nights = + 10%, 3 = + 20%, 2 = + 30%, 1 = + 40%)

The promotional low rates are in S.A. Rands (ZAR), and include free Internet/Wifi, M-Net & DSTV Hotel Bouquet ("Cable TV"), hot water & parking (VAT N/A), but exclude all meals, daily servicing, heating (optional extra R50p.d. per heater) late-checkin fee of R300 after 8pm & refundable Damage/Security Deposit of approximately R1000 for a 1-bedroom unit (504) or R2000 for a 2-bedroom unit (507) payable together with the rental balance on checking in.

Children of 13 years and older, are classed as adults.

The unit is self-servicing, i.e. it is not serviced daily by us. Cleaning & new towels/linen is done by us before check-in & after checkout only.

Our company manages Apartments in 9 diverse buildings in Cape Town.

Check-in (getting keys & directions to whichever building you have chosen to stay at), is from 4pm (or earlier if possible, depending on whether previous guests are departing from your unit on the morning of your arrival day) at our main Reception office at The Centurion All-Suite Hotel in Sea Point (close to our other buildings), irrespective of which building you have booked to stay at. Check-out is up to 10am (or later if possible, depending on whether other guests are checking into your unit on your departure day).

Checking out is very convenient for you and us, as it simply involves you leaving the key/remote etc. in the apartment and shutting the front door.

Directions for checking in (getting keys & directions to whichever building you have chosen to stay at) : From N1 or N2 national roads or from airport to our main Reception office address (Nr 1 Frere Road, Sea Point) at The Centurion All-Suite HotelTM, corner of Main Rd & Frere Rd (above "KFC", in same block as “Clicks” & "Pick 'n Pay", on same corner as "Cafe Sofia"), Sea Point, Cape Town :

Follow national road signs to "Cape Town". As soon as you enter Cape Town, follow road signs to "Sea Point". When you see the ocean on your right, you will be on Beach Rd, from which you turn left into Rocklands Road, straight across Main Rd into Frere Rd past "Cafe Sofia" on the left-hand corner and drive into the first driveway on your right.

Please come to the main external reception which is on the short passage between the pavement and the tower of the building, not inside the tower, and check in only with Vassi or his assistant Vicky.

          Very nice and comfortable stay, only one drawback which is the noise that starts very early because of the short market, but the rest is all very pleasant.

          We stayed for 4 nights at Greenmarket Place and we really enjoyed our stay. Huge size, plenty of space and the bathrooms are beautiful and spacious. The location is very best, few meters away from the shops, restaurants, banks, Netcare and Sightseeing bus stop at Long Street. Vicky was extremely friendly and helpful.
