About Groenvlei Guest Farm
Groenvlei Guest Farm is a beautiful, peaceful, family run grape farm that offers a guest house, self-catering units and function venue for all events. The farm is located between the Bottelary Hills in the Stellenbosch Winelands, 17 km outside Stellenbosch. The Farm offers an ideal getaway for the traveller whilst experiencing true country hospitality. Groenvlei Guest Farm is convenient for business trips too. It is the perfect base to explore all things Cape Town and its surroundings has to offer from. We will gladly assist you to plan your day including wine tours, car rentals and restaurant bookings etc. Enjoy the panoramic views of Table Mountain.
GUEST HOUSE- includes breakfast:
Enjoy the tranquility of the guest house with its 4 en-suite bedrooms, a lounge and dining room. Spend relaxing time on the veranda while overlooking Table Mountain. The guest house is 4 star graded and the rooms offer FREE Wi-Fi, air conditioning, crisp white linen, luxurious duvets and cushions, bathrobes, remote control flat screen television with satellite channels, minibar fridges, hairdryers, coffee/tea tray and electronic safes.
SELF CATERING UNITS- optional breakfast @ additional cost:
Groenvlei Guest Farm also offers 4 non-graded, individually decorated self-catering units that sleep 2 - 6 guests. These units come equipped with an open-plan kitchen and living area, air conditioning, FREE Wi-Fi, a fridge/freezer combination, microwave and 2 plate stove as well as dining table with chairs, lounge with couch and TV. There is also crisp white linen, luxurious duvets, cushions, towels provided, bathroom with shower/bath and private entrance.
BREAKFAST:
Enjoy a farm style breakfast in the dining room or on the terrace served to the breath taking views of Table Mountain and the vineyards. Our freshly brewed coffee pot is always full and we also offer Nespresso Cappuccino, Latte, Espresso or Americano.

Test your tennis skills and play a game/set or two on the tennis court.
Go for a run or walk between the vineyards and breathe in the fresh air.
Mountain biking and hiking trails starts from our neighbouring farm and leads into the Bottelary Hills with stunning views overlooking Cape Town and surroundings.

BOOKINGS TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ACCOMMODATION
1. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. When making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understand and accept these terms and conditions. All quotations and bookings provided by Groenvlei Guest Farm are subject to these terms and conditions.

BOOKINGS TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ACCOMMODATION
1. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. When making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understand and accept these terms and conditions. All quotations and bookings provided by Groenvlei Guest Farm are subject to these terms and conditions.
2. Bookings:
SAME DAY BOOKINGS AND CHECK-IN
To secure same day bookings the following is needed:
A. Credit card payment - valid credit card details is needed to secure the booking. A 100% booking total will be deducted. If the credit card details are not valid, this will result in an automatic cancellation of the booking.
B. EFT payments–a 100% booking total is payable and proof of payment must be sent before 16:00 on the day of arrival to secure the booking. Failure to send proof of payment will result in automatic cancellation of the booking.
C. Invalid credit card details/no proof of payment sent before 16:00 will automatically result in cancellation of this booking.
ALL OTHER BOOKINGS
To secure a booking, other than same day bookings and check-ins, the following is needed.
A. Credit card payment - valid credit card details is needed to secure the booking, 50% of the booking total will be deducted
B. EFT payments–a 50% deposit is payable within 48 hours of receiving confirmation of booking and sending proof of payment will secure the booking
C. Invalid credit card details or not paying the deposit within the given time, will automatically result in cancellation of this booking.
3. Check-in between 14:00 and 17:00.
Contact the office between 08:00 and 16:00 if you will be arriving after 17:00 to make arrangements for late check in. If the guest does not make any arrangements for late check-in before 17:00 on the day of check in, the office will still close at 17:00. No late check-in will be allowed without prior arrangement.
4. Check-outis at 10:00.
If you are not checked out by 10:00, a late check- out fee will be charged. This amount is payable on departure. (R50.00 per 30min)
5. Lost keys: If you cannot hand in your key to reception during check out due to lost/misplaced/any reason, you will be responsible for the replacement cost of the keys. The replacement cost for 1 set of keys is R400.00 and is payable by the guest on departure.
6. Guest property: Groenvlei Guest Farm and its staff do not accept liability in respect of any loss or damage to articles brought onto the premises. We do not accept responsibility for your cars while parked on our premises. It is the sole responsibility of all guests to make arrangements for adequate insurance coverage on all valuable items prior to arrival. This includes but is not limited to, photographic equipment, laptops or other electronic devices, jewellery, cash and vehicles.
7. Lost property: Lost property is held for a period of 1 month;thereafter it will be donated to charity. It is the responsibility of the guest to contact Groenvlei Guest Farm management to claim lost property. On request, lost property will be returned at the expense of the guest.
8. All outstanding money to be paid on arrival.
9. On arrival you will be informed of all the items in the room. On departure the room will be checked to make sure that everything is still in the room and in working condition. If any item is missing or broken, the guest will be responsible for the replacement cost of all lost or broken items. This amount is payable on departure by the guest.
10. The mini bar is fully stocked on arrival. Any usage during your stay will be charged to your account and is payable on departure by the guest.
11. Cancellation and refund:
A. Between 90 and 60 days before arrival 30% of deposit paid will be forfeited
B. Between 60 and 30 days before arrival 50% of deposit paid will be forfeited
C. Less than 30 days before arrival or in case of no-show 100% of deposit paid will be forfeited.
12. Room choice: Every effort is made to accommodate the guest in the room of their choice, but room placement is at the discretion of Groenvlei Guest Farm.
