About Lake Grappa Guest Farm

Lake Grappa Guest Farm offers a piece of unspoilt heaven for total body, mind and soul relaxation. It is tucked away in the heart of the Green Kalahari and surrounded by table grape vineyards.

The guest farm offers guests a choice of staying in one of four self-catering chalets, or in one of the four B&B Rooms. All the chalets are air-conditioned and have kitchenettes equipped with fridge-freezers, stoves, microwaves, kettles and toasters. Guests can relax in the comfortable lounge areas or in the indoor braai area. Each chalet has a bathroom with a shower, towels and bathroom amenities. The One-bedroom Chalets are furnished with queen-size beds, while the Two-bedroom Chalets are furnished with queen-size beds and twin beds. Guests can enjoy meals in the function room or purchase a braai pack from reception. Salads and other side meals can also be arranged.

The B&B Rooms offer views of the lake and are furnished with queen-size or single beds. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, towels and bathroom amenities. Each room is air-conditioned and equipped with a TV with DStv. Two of the rooms are connected and all open onto the outside patio. Breakfast is served at the clubhouse.

Guests can enjoy a sundowner at the bar after a long day. Meals are served on a daily basis and pizzas are available on Wednesday and Friday nights. The guest house also has a lovely venue available that overlooks the beautiful Lake Grappa and is the idyllic setting for weddings or conferences.

Guests can learn how to slalom ski during their stay, or visit the majestic Augrabies Waterfalls which is only 20 km away. Other activities include hiking trails or fishing next to the Orange River, canoeing, horse riding, game drives, quad biking, 4x4 routes, mountain biking and paddle boating. Guests can also pick their own export table grapes or relax on the patio with a glass of wine and absorb the beauty of the surrounds.

              I can express myself better in Afrikaans so please excuse me for doing it in Afrikaans.Ons het ons verblyf by julle baie geniet. Tenspyte van die troue het jul jul weg oopgesien om vir ons kos te kom aflewer asook vir ons ys en hout te bring. Die kos was heerlik en jul plek is baie baie mooi en gerieflik. Kan nie juis fout vind nie behalwe vir die stortkop wat te wyd sprei mens raak net nie nat nie en dit is nie lekker om eers in die stort te klim en dan die koue water te kry voor jyweer deur die warm water verbrand word nie. Ek moet egter se dat by byna al die gaste plekkies wat ons was het...

              Fantastic situation, beautiful scenery and sunsets, friendly people. Please note breakfast is only available from 09.00 am onwards, but the food was good.

              Had an awesome stay at Lake Grappa.House was very neat and modern.Television could have been a bigger size though.Also would have liked an oven in the kitchen.Love the inside braai.Overall had a pleasant stay. Enjoyed the lovely breakfast!
