Mawimbi Bush Camp

Mawimbi Bush Camp is a luxury tented camp situated on the banks of the magnificent Kafue River in the Kafue National Park, Zambia. There are three large luxury tents facing the river ideal for couples and families. Each of the three tent has it’s own outdoor en-suite bathroom with a bucket shower supplied with hot water on demand. All of the tents have mosquito netting and private verandas overlooking the river. The main activity offered at Mawimbi Bush Camp is canoeing. We offer different day trips as well as short sundowner trips. There are different canoeing trips to choose from, you can take a lesuirly paddle down the river and absorb all the unspoilt African bush or you can be brave and master the many rapids of the Kafue River. We also offer guided game walk through the Kafue National Park, this is a great way to see the bush and animals in all thier beauty, and is a wonderful photographic opportunity. Fishing off the banks is also a wonderful activity for the avid fishermen coming to Mawimbi Bush Camp.
