The beach is called Alkanstrand beach which is a 10min drive from the house, this beach has waves that are surfable with life guards.
Richards Bay Country Club is a 8 min drive from the house, there is a beautiful restaurant called Porkys, which over looks the Mzingazi lake that has resident Hippos in the lake which can be spotted from the restaurant and golf course.
Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game reserve is an 1hr drive from the house and they do guided safaris there.
There is a few Game Reserves around the Richards bay area.
