HOUSE RULES
1. NO SMOKING INSIDE - There are ashtrays outside that must please be cleaned before departure. Do not throw cigarette buds in the neighbouring properties and farmland, as it is a huge fire risk. Nature works well without it.
2. SAVE WATER AND ELECTRICITY – it’s a scarce resource and dwindling fast.
3. SAFETY - Switch off all electrical gadgets and lock all doors when going out. Yes, Yzerfontein is generally safe but we don’t want to be a part of the statistics. Let’s stay safe.
4. NOISE - We request that everyone takes each other into consideration wrt noise. The units aren’t sound proof so let’s work together so that all can relax and enjoy their stay.
5. NO SUITCASES/LUGGAGE BAGS ON BEDS – respect the linen and towels and use it for the assigned purpose. There is a floor rag and floor towels in the kitchenette to be used on the floors. Please remove make-up before going to sleep. Should there be any stains on the bedding/towels, you will be charged extra for damages.
6. NO WIPES, TISSUES OR SANITARY TOWELS to be flushed down toilets. Please use the bin in the toilet/bathroom to dispose of any foreign material.
7. PARKING - To ensure everyone can move in and out freely, Please park in the parking allocated to you upon arrival.
8. DAMAGES - In the event of any keys being lost or damages in and to the unit, an additional fee will be levied and payable.
9. DO NOT USE THE GARDEN AS A TOILET … a fine of R500 for each infraction will be payable.
10. GARBAGE Place garbage in disposable garbage bags. On Thursdays place the garbage on the sidewalk for collection. Alternatively, leave the garbage at the gate outside the units.
11. OUTSIDE BRAAI – Please make sure the braai fire/coals are totally put out by pouring water on the coals. Do not leave an open fire unattended.
