About Quinta da Montanha

This luxury self-catering cottage is private and peaceful, a retreat sleeping atop the hills of Knysna surrounded by lush indigenous forests and tranquil lakes.

This modern country unit has two en-suite bedrooms and the kitchen is fully equipped to cater for at least 20 guests should you have friends and family over for dinner. The equipment includes a microwave, a gas top, an electric oven, a double-door fridge, as well as all the other necessities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. For the longer stay-overs, the scullery and laundry is equipped with a washing machine, a tumble-dryer and ironing facilities.

From the wrap-around deck you can enjoy the 180-degrees views of the mountains and dam, while preparing dinner over a relaxing fire after a day exploring the town’s craft shops, flea markets and cosy cafés.

      Thank you for a very comfortable and pleasant holiday house.My family very much enjoyed the space and country setting. The house was generally very well equiped!!,but I could not find a bread knife or broom.However we all managed very well.Thank you for the very friendly welcome on arrival.I wish you all a very blessed 2018Patricia and family.

      This is a lovely and very spacious cottage situated on a working farm about 1km from the indigenous forest. The area is very peaceful and relaxing and the cottage has all the amenities you need. The daily walk by of the dairy cows is an added bonus. We had a great 6 days here and could have easily stayed another week.
