Rus Tevrede Private Game Lodge is safely situated within Dinokeng’s Big 5 Game Reserve and just 65 km from Pretoria.

We offer a very large luxury house, private, self-catering. The house consists of a spacious living area with full dstv, dinning area, 3 bedrooms with en'suite bathrooms, big loft area that sleeps 12-14 people sharing with 2x bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. There is a lapa with a 2xboma's and braai outside for the ultimate starry night and bushveld fire, potjie or brunch. The swimming pool will keep guests cool for those hot summer days.

There are a number of game lodges, farms and smallholdings in the area that provide ample opportunity to experience African bushveld and the Big 5 literally minutes from the city of Pretoria.

We had a wonderful family stay this past weekend. Lovely fenced garden for kids to play in, with jungle gyms and toys to amuse them; and the wildlife wandering past. Lovely pool area to cool off in heat, safely fenced off. Kitchen is well stocked with crockery and glassware. Plenty space to unwind. Short drive to Dinokeng Self Drive entrance. Will definately be returning.

We enjoyed the quiet. Chrissie was a lovely hostess - not intrusive. Sophie and Boetie were wonderfully helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we didn't see as much game as we'd have liked but it didn't spoil our time away.

The house is amazing, and has everything you need for a family getaway. Loved seeing the game from the stoep. The hosts have also taken care to cater for younger kids as there are ample things available to keep them entertained.
