About Smartt Guesthouse
Smartt Guesthouse is a small and friendly guest house ideally located on the N12 between Gauteng and Cape Town, making it an ideal stopover location. The guest house is under new ownership since April 2013 and is situated next to Quest Service Station.
The owners, Francois and Kotie see to the day to day running of the guesthouse as well as the Pub and Grill on the premises.
There are four twin or double rooms available as well as a family room. Safe parking is available as well as a swimming pool area that is still under renovation.

Important Information
Check in time is between 15:00 and 19:00. This time allows for us to ensure units are in pristine condition before your arrival. Should you need to check in earlier we shall be happy to assist. Please notify us if late arrival is expected. Check out time is before 11:00 am. Requests for late checkout can be directed to the owner and is subject to R100.00 fee. Check out no later than 13:00.
Parking:
Cars may be parked in front of the guest house under the covered parking. There is two parking bays available at the back of the guest house. Please note however that parking is at own risk. A security guard of Quest Garage is keeping an eye over the cars.
Smoking:
Please note that smoking is prohibited inside all our rooms, so please smoke outside. Trespassers will be prosecuted.
Meals:
Meals are available at our pub and grill. Please see menu for prices etc. Note that breakfast is served on request and if you are going to enjoy breakfast please notify us at what time.
Pets:
Pets are welcome at the quest house but must be at all times on a leash under the care of the owner.
As from 1st February 2014, R40.00 booking levy for one or two pets, R60.00 booking levy for three or more pets, subject to our Pet-Friendly House Rules
HOUSE RULES
For the sake of hygiene and the convenience of other guests, we kindly request that pet owners abide by these rules:
• No Pets are allowed in the courtyard, dining room and pub. They are allowed to run around in the swimming pool area;
• Please discard pet poo straight away: use plastic bag that will be provided at reception then the bin thats marked pets.
