Each cottage is equipped with a fridge, small countertop grill with hotplates, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, a hairdryer, bath towels, wood-burning fireplace, and braai facilities.Enjoy the communal swimming pool, active bird-life and fynbos during summer or relax in front of the fireplace with a glass of red wine in the winter months. Fantastic stay at Stony Brook. Juanne and Joy really take pride in hosting their guests. Excellent service. Cottages are clean and everything you need. Unfortunately we only arrived at 19:30(wine tram) and had to be out by 10:00 the next morning. We were also invited to a free wine tasting, but could not make it.. Would have loved to explore and experience the lovely setting. Highly recommended for a farm stay. We will be back!Thank you

We loved how quite and serene Stony Brook was, being at the base of the mountains was just lovely. We loved our stay, it was very clean and the outdoor fire place was lovely. They also offered a complementary wine tasting, which we thought was great but we unfortunately weren't able to go to.There were a few things missing out the kitchen that they quickly replaced for us. They only downside for us was the shower which didnt stay at a constant temperature. It went from ice to boiling and back and forth.

Very nice and spacious cottage. The rest not impressive at all. For the price being charged, you'd expect a little more attention to detail and some courtesy. Water coming out of the taps is brown, yet no drinking water. 2 teaspoons of coffee in a little glass jar, not even enough for 2 decent cups of coffee. 2 x 10ml of milk. No soap. Someone else's half container body wash still in shower. Hand soap container filled with water. Never saw the hosts. Collected the key in a safe and returned key to the safe. Hosts couldh've spent R20 on decent coffee and a 500ml milk making a huge impact on...
