About Sue Casa

Sue Casa is ideally located on the Manaba Beach coastline, offering fantastic ocean and breaker views. Opposite the complex there is a private rock beach and a quick 350m stroll along the seaside road, favoured by runners and cyclists for its views, is the popular Lucien beach with shark nets, lifeguards, tidal swimming pool, tuck shop and ice-cream parlour. Lucien beach stretches for 800m to become Margate beach, a hub of eateries and entertainment, but there is a selection of shops and pub bistro's in Manaba on the main road, three blocks away.

This penthouse apartment on the 3rd floor capitalises on the unbeatable sea views, giving uninterrupted, 180 degree panoramic views of the waves breaking over rock beaches, while fisherman ply their trade, and children chase fish in the tidal pool. With floor to roof and wall to wall glass sliders onto a French balcony in the living area, the views fill the unit and feel within touching distance.

Spacious and tastefully furnished, the unit comfortably accommodates six guests. The main bedroom has a king size bed, ample cupboard space and lovely sea views and the second bedroom has two single beds and inland views. In the lounge there is a comfortable double sleeper couch for extra guests. The apartment has a full bathroom with bath, shower and toilet plus there is a second separate toilet and hand basin.

The granite kitchen is well equipped with all the day-to-day cooking amenities and for your comfort during your stay there is a washing machine and tumble dryer. A chest freezer in addition to the normal fridge/freezer is popular with fisherman and longer stay guests. A window bar to the living area ensures that you don't miss a whale breaching while you cook and is convenient for serving to the round family dining table in the living area.

If you can tear your eyes away from the sea in the comfortably furnished, large spacious lounge, there is a flat screen television, complete with surround sound DVD player and DStv with the full Premium bouquet. Apart from the French balcony, off the lounge is a separate covered cocktail balcony with seating and a gas braai and the same unparalleled sea views - if you prefer not to meet folk at the communal braai area downstairs.

The complex is set behind palisade fencing with remote electric gate access and lock up garage parking is provided for one vehicle - there is also trailer and limited guest parking. The secure apartment has burglar bars and a remote alarm with armed response panic button. There is also a small safe in the apartment for your valuables. The apartment is not air conditioned but there are ceiling fans and the expandable gates on the cocktail balcony conveniently allow for fresh air and the sounds of waves breaking while you sleep in the main bedroom or living area. Linen is provided for the beds and sleeper couch but guests are kindly requested to provide their own beach and bath towels. Daily servicing of the unit is not included but can be arranged in advance subject to availability.

Our stay at No. 12 Sue Casa was wonderful. The flat is within walking distance of Manaba Beach and has a beautiful view of the sea. The flat is comfortable and is kept neat and clean. It is great that there is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the flat. I highly recommend staying at No. 12 Sue Casa.
