Loved the freedom to drive or walk on any part of the farm. There is a lovely variety of animals to view, without having to travel for hours on end. Despite the area being conveniently small, the game were clearly "wild animals". Our hosts, Christo and Elizabeth, were both very hospitable and helpful. Thank you.

Wow! We absolutely loved staying here. It was also the first time we had driven inland in this direction, so got to see beautiful scenery along the way. We arrived at this extremely well-kept farm after what was pretty much a game drive coming in. We chose to stay in On Golden Pond because we have a horde of children and didn't realise the other two chalets were so close to each other (we would have put all our kids in one and us in the other!). On Golden Pond is part of the farm life, and we sat on the verandah and watched the animals roaming the nearby fields and hills - we ticked off 70%...

Thank you Elizabeth and Christo for your hospitality. Very nice view from the deck. Everything was clean and well equipped. Will definitely be back.

The walks, drives on your own with your people to see the animals and birds during the day and evening. At th time it was just to cold for "tubing" down the Groot Vis rivier running right past our accomodation. The staff are extremely helpful. Wood was provided and the stoep is a pleasant viepoint. The gas geyser may need a little attention in the one house, but I believe it will be sorted. It is VERY affordable for what you get in terms of game reserve experience.
