The estate is known for its multiple award-winning Bloemendal Sauvignon Blanc, "Suider Terras". Other notables include Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot, Semillon, Natural Sweet, Chardonnay, Pinotage, and Bloemenblanc.

Bloemendal is also home to some of the best festivals and concerts in Cape Town.
