About Acacia @ Westdene

[email protected] is located in Westdene, Bloemfontein’s most centrally situated suburb. Positioned in a leafy garden, the rooms offers peaceful, convenient and comfortable accommodation for the business and leisure traveller.

The units have their own entrance and an automated gate opens to secure off-street parking. Our guests' comforts are of utmost importance and are seen to with heaters in winter and cooling in summer. The setting is cosy, tranquil and secure, and braai facilities are also available on the premises.

The lodge offers self-catering or bed and breakfast accommodation. An open-plan area consists of a sitting area and bedroom as well as a well-equipped kitchen. Facilities include a hairdryer, TV and tea tray. A sleeper couch is ideal for children. A sun-drenched courtyard next to the pool is perfect for sundowners. Generous breakfasts include home-made treats and preserves.

Acacia Lodge is conveniently situated, just two minutes from the Loch Logan Waterfront and Vodacom sport ground. Most of the major schools in Bloemfontein are within 10 minutes drive, as well as the University of the Free State as well as CUT. MediClinic Hospital is five minutes' drive away, Bloemfontein Airport is just 15 minutes away and most major business areas are 10 minutes away. We are also just 15 minutes off the N1 national road. Bloemfontein and Schoemanpark Golf courses are a mere 10 minutes away, making this an ideal stopover for the keen golfer. Restaurants are in abundance and within walking distance.

Managers Elize and Louis are able to advise on day excursions, golf courses and many other nearby attractions and are always available to assist with your every need and are looking forward to meeting you at our establishment.

                              The place was incredibly big. Big house and big premises. It was tranquil. The host welcomed us pleasantly. The rooms were so big, clean and tidy. It was warm and very comfortable. It had everything we needed. The breakfast served was tasty, and great. We had lovely weather at the time we stayed here so it was quite nice to take a walk or even just sit outside. The place was well located to near by shops if we needed anything. The people were incredibly friendly and helpful. If we ever come this way again, I would stay here again. I also would recommend it to others.

                              A charming old Bloemfontein house nestled in a quite suburb. The guest house is conveniently situated to restaurants and shopping facilities. The room was spacious and tastefully furnished, the garden spacious and well kept.The host, Gerda, was informative and friendly.Reasonable value for money. I would recommend this guest house.

                              We were a late arrival, but Gerda made us feel very welcome and made sure that we felt at home. She showed us all that we needed to know in a professional way. The breakfast was outstanding! If we have to stay over in Bloem again, it would definitely be with Gerda!
