It was a relaxing place. The staff were very understanding and catered for our needs except the TV coverage.

When I booked I had a special request for my fiance in the honeymoon suite. On the day of arrival we found out there was no electricity upon asking some of the neighbours it was an issue they were aware of 2 days prior our visit. To top it all off we had to take a cold shower in the morning since the generator did not have gas to me that was appalling for such an establishment. What was meant to be a romantic night turned into a horrible experience we will never forget.

Wonderful friendly people. Room was clean and fresh towels and linen every day. Would recommend access to a hair drier as there was none. Food was great. Felt safe and secure. Coffee and tea making facilities a great plus.

The Lodge is not bad but definitely not 5 Star. When was the grading last given? Also when we arrived for check in they did not have us on the list for check in that day even though we paid the full amount when booking. Luckily there was still a honeymoon suite available but this was not professional. The food was really great though.

Secure and easy to reach from OR Tambo. Very nice people, always have a helping hand. Have stayed there around the world cup final with some Dutch fans. Was really great atmosphere - at least before the game. Thanks
