About Bethulie Guest Farm

Bethulie Guest House was built in 1924 by Mr Pellesier (a descendant of one of the founding families of Bethulie) for his daughter by one of his friends the renowned architect Sir Herbert Baker, one of the most well-known architects in South African history.

The rooms are big with en-suite bathrooms and there is a Jacuzzi bath in the extra main guest bathroom which guests are welcome to use.

In each room there is a Flat Screen TV with some DStv channels, bar fridge and coffee making facilities, amenities, a double or two single beds (extra Beds in a room can be arranged for children) and everything else you would expect to have a great stay. Relax in the living room area and enjoy our flat screen TV with full DStv.

The house has had a complete makeover with modern bathrooms and stylish bedrooms. You can relax in the many living room areas or enjoy a true Karoo homemade meal in our Lovely dining room.

Wedding Venues: We are also open for small weddings.

Conference Venues: Up to 30 delegates can be accommodated in classroom style. Please be specific in email. Wi-Fi available and 5 in house rooms.

Loved the setting Roads to the guest farm are excellent. We couldn’t review any of the meals as the manager/host was not well but he was very accommodating and offered to collect food from the restaurant in town but we managed on what we had with us. I would stay there again though

We had an unforgettable stay in this beautifully kept and maintained guesthouse. Kobus, our host, was very welcoming and went out of his way to cater to our needs. I would highly recommend staying over in Bethulie Guest Farm

A trip into yester year at the Bethulie Guest farm. We were greeted with lovely smiles and antique furniture. A great experience and worthwhile stopover with delicious breakfast. Dinner slightly overpriced though.

The Guest Farm is so much of the past , building imposing, the decor fitting and yet of the present too... Our host was a mine of information ,made us feel at home, communicated & catered well.

It was awesome. Suggest that they build a swimming pool.
