Birrea Guest House is situated in a quiet neighbourhood in Polokwane and offers guests a choice of rooms. The word Birrea is the botanical name for the maroela tree, and the guesthouse was also built around a maroela tree.
The rooms are equipped with TVs with DStv, Wi-Fi, a small fridge, a microwave as well as tea and coffee facilities. Cereals, milk, yoghurt, and rusks is provided, and included in the rate.
A warm breakfast is available on request at an additional cost. Guests are also welcome to make use of the lounge and dining area. Safe parking is also available.
South Africa's Limpopo province is also famous for the Big 5, exceptional bird watching, untamed bush and mountain landscapes – all popular things to do in Polokwane. It is also the centre of an ancient African kingdom at Mapungubwe National Park.
Polokwane offers a variety of restaurants as well as attractions such as the Hugh Exton Photographic Museum, the Meropa Casino, Polokwane Bird and Reptile Park, Polokwane Museum, Bakone Malapa Museum, and the Polokwane Game Reserve.
