About Elephant Point

Welcome to Elephant Point.

Elephant Point is situated in a region renowned for its natural diversity and concentration of big game, and is undoubtedly one of the best game viewing areas in the Kruger National Park. The estate takes its name from the elephant that can frequently be seen drinking and grazing on the banks of the mighty Sabie River.

In addition you will see herds of buffalo, prides of lion, leopards and numerous antelope species. Elephant Point borders the Kruger National Park and is also neighbour to the world famous and exclusive Sabi Sand Game Reserve, home of Mala Mala, Sabi Sabi, Londolozi, Singita, Ulusaba and others.

The estate is a 5 hour drive from Johannesburg or 60 minutes from the Mpumalanga Kruger airport following a 45-minute flight from Johannesburg. Come visit and enjoy bush luxury like never before.

Check-in time is from 15h00 onwards.
Upon arrival, if prior to 17h00, guests will sign in the register at the main gate with the security gates man. If after 17h00, then guests will just be handed the lodge key at the gate when signing in.

When entering the lodge the relevant paperwork such as the registration, indemnity forms and Wi-Fi voucher will be inside the lodge, and either of management will welcome you at the lodge once settled in.
Check-out time is at 10h00.
Internet: Wi-Fi is available inside the lodges and is limited to 1GB per night stayed.
Parking: Free private parking is available - Reservation is not needed.
Lodge is booked on a self-catering basis: Pre-arrival shopping service is available if required. The cost of this service is R450 (Travelling fee) + 15% of the total grocery bill. A list can be sent to you to assist in the planning process and to advise us accordingly. Kindly request for this list to be sent to you.
