Take a trip to the reef to see the fantastic and vibrant life of the coral, just a couple of hundred metres away from the beach. Wake up in the morning, walk down to the beach, and pick up a variety of fresh seafood from the fisherman’s catch.

Guests can enjoy a round of golf at Leisure Lodge’s 18-hole golf course, only 10 minutes’ drive away from Galu Beach Estate. Some of the 5 Star hotels close to the golf course also have casinos where you can try your luck at the roulette and black jack tables. In addition, guests have a choice of several shopping centres along the beach road, well-stocked to meet all daily requirements. At two of the bigger shopping centres guests will find all sorts of food, clothing, souvenirs, handicrafts, banks, ATMs, a postal service, medical and dental facilities, Internet, travel and car rental services. Along the beach road, small buses called "Matatu" in Swahili provide transport up and down and are available all day long.

Along the beach are five scuba diving schools offering diving lesson and five deep-sea fishing clubs that offer all types of diving services and training, while within two to four hours’ drive, guests can visit famous game parks such as Shimba Hills, Tsavo-East and Tsavo-West.
