About Hidden Emerald

Tucked away in the corner of Barrydale, is this gem, an oasis in the Klein Karoo. If it is peace and tranquility you are wanting, this is your stop.

A magnificent garden stretches out in front of your room patio, treating you to the sounds of nature all around. Comprising a cosy, private room fitted with a comfortable double bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet.

The double doors lead out onto a patio with magnificent views of an established garden. Hidden Emerald is a short walk from town where a variety of restaurants and coffee shops can be found.

Make the most of your trip away and book yourself in for an Aromatherapy, Body Talk (A new paradigm in healing), Reflexology treatment or an Acupressure Facelift (A holistic, non-surgical treatment), which are all offered on the premises at a 10% discount. All treatments are done by a qualified therapist, with international qualifications.

We went into the room for 5 minutes and then left to find alternative accommodation. This is not a guest house, it is a room at the back of someone's house. It is cramped, had a bad smell and not comfortable to stay in at all. I think SafariNow should review the places they put on their site, I'll be reluctant to trust guest houses again.
