About House on Westcliff

In a tranquil, indigenous garden close to the ocean, cliff path and whales lies House on Westcliff. Each charming bedroom has its own garden entrance, heated towel rail, fridge, tea and coffee facilities, and a shared satellite TV. We also offer secure parking on our premises as well as credit card facilities.

Enjoy the beautiful garden beside the solar heated pool. Relax in the cosy lounge under thatch and enjoy our original African art, good music, and books which will introduce you to the area and its nature, while farm fresh breakfasts are served in the dining room overlooking the garden.

We are located just a few minutes' walk to the harbour for boating, cruising, and dining, or you may choose to go to the centre of town for museums, galleries, and the many shops and restaurants. A few minutes' drive will take you to the beautiful beaches of Hermanus, and shark cage diving and boat based whale watching are organised from House on Westcliff on a daily basis in season.

The relaxing garden made the guest house feel special.

              24 March 2017

The Hostess was superb, the location was good, close to town and the breakfast was outstanding. The place has got an African feel to it, something that I liked and it was also very comfortable.

              06 March 2016

We found the establishment very efficiently well run. The rooms were spacious and clean. Lovely breakfasts were provided with a cold buffet and cooked food. There was also a small heated pool with sun beds in a pleasant garden. Overall we had a very pleasant and relaxed visit.

              10 September 2015

Very welcoming. Clean & comfortable room & bathroom. Plenty hot water. Lovely breakfast. I can recommend House on Westcfiff & will gladly stay again should I return to Hermanus.

              11 August 2015

We were excited to find this accommodation at short notice. It has everything a guesthouse needs -friendly hostess, clean and comfortable rooms, delicious and filling breakfast and close proximity to many attractions. We enjoyed our short stay and found it to be good value for money.
