We had great night walk and good reptile sightings in the evenings. Great place and friendly hosts. In a beautiful and peaceful area

What a beautiful farm inside the Namaqua National Park Borders! One of the last private farms remaining with basic but adequate and comfortable facilities. If you love hiking, camping and adventure you will love this place. Virtually dessert and extremely dry with pitch-black starry skies and quite evenings this place helps one to get centered and grounded again. I’ll definitely return!

We arrived at the campsite (not Lodge) at around 6pm. No one was on site. We did not know where we were meant to camp. The place is full of dust and not a pleasant camping experience at all. Luckily we moved on to better campsites over the next couple of days. I must warn you that sandstorms are frequent at this time of the year in this area and if you want layers of fine dust inside your tent then this is the place for you. Establishments response:I would like to apologize. This sandstorm was the worst we ever experienced, my gate at my house was closed with all the sand I couldn't get out....

Incredibly harsh environment. Hendrina has succeeded in creating something special, and she is a lovely person.
