Booking Conditions and General Information:

Cast to Conserve Pty Ltd (2019 / 318470 / 07) is herein referred to as “African Waters” and the person or
persons who sign the booking form is herein after referred to as the “client”. Upon signature the client
agrees to be bound by these booking conditions and any contract between the client and African Waters is
subject to and shall be governed and construed according to South African Law.

The client who signifies his/her acceptance of a booking does so on behalf of himself and the persons
under his authority, which means that all are bound by these terms and conditions (Booking Conditions
and General Information) of African Waters.

1. Insurance
Comprehensive travel, medical, baggage, money and cancellation insurance are compulsory on all
African Waters tours. This is the clients’ own responsibility and should be arranged in your country of
origin, when your book your tour.

Medical Evacuation: it is imperative that all clients have adequate travel and medical insurance that
includes medical evacuation from point of injury. We strongly recommend you obtain this through
Global Rescue - http://www.globalrescue.com/africanwaters/ who are world leaders and are strongly
linked with the fishing travel industry. You can sign up using the link provided or request the sign up
form in PDF format from African Waters.

2. Cancellation Procedure
A non-refundable deposit of 50% per person is due within 10 days of booking for all trip packages
and reservations, and final payment is due 90 days prior to arrival. All trip cancellations must be
received in writing. Both deposits and final payments are non-refundable. If a cancelled package is
resold by African Waters, then a full refund will be sent minus a 10% per person cancellation fee. In
the case of cancellation by the client, both deposit and final payment may be transferred to another
guest or angler for those same (original) dates if facilitated and arranged by the client. If no
replacement is found, the following cancellation terms will apply:
· For cancellations outside of 180 days from the start of trip date, a 90% credit (will be issued
for a trip to be rescheduled within one year from original trip date.
· For cancellations made 179 to 90 days from the start of trip date, a 50% credit will be issued
for a trip to be rescheduled within one year from original trip date.
· For cancellations inside of 90 days from arrival date, all payments will be forfeited, and no
credit will be issued.

African Waters strongly recommends that anglers and guests purchase travel insurance for your trip.
No refunds will be given for services, activities or accommodations voluntarily not participated in by
the guest. This is the clients’ own responsibility and should be arranged in your country of origin,
when your book your tour. It is mandatory that all clients have adequate medical insurance that
includes medical evacuation from point of injury. We strongly recommend you obtain this through
Global Rescue, who are world leaders and are strongly linked with the fishing travel industry. African
Waters, its agents and affiliates, take no responsibility for change in international and local flight
schedules. At time of quote, all flight charges, island fees and government taxes are correct but
nonetheless are subject to change without prior notice. Client bookings are accepted on the
understanding by the client that all tours are of an adventurous nature and involve an element of
personal risk which is an inherent part of international travel. Clients undertake all tours entirely at
their own risk and while African Waters takes every precaution to ensure the safety of clients, no
responsibility can be accepted for any death, injury or loss which might occur to such clients,
sustained from any cause whatsoever. Please be aware that all guests will be required to sign and
return the African Waters Indemnity Form prior to the trip, and there will be no exceptions to this.
Receipt of deposit and/or final payment is acknowledgment that registrant has read and accepts the
deposit, cancellation, refund and responsibility clauses for these African Waters packages.

3. Group Size and Age
Group sizes range from 2 to 8 clients. Due to the physical nature and youthful mentality of African
Waters tours we recommend our tours to the 18 to 75 year age group. Older and younger clients are
welcome subject to required physical ability.

4. Currencies
Clients must realize that most African countries have certain currency restrictions with which they
must familiarize themselves before traveling.

5. Rescue and Medical Assistance
In the unlikely event of rescue and medical assistance being needed, the client shall be liable for the
entire cost thereof.

6. Participation
The level of enjoyment and satisfaction experienced by a client on and after a tour is a reflection on
the individuals’ ability to participate and get involved in all aspects of the tour. A flexible mindset is
imperative when traveling in Africa.

7. Guides
African Waters has a small team of experienced full-time guides and camp staff at all our camps and
lodges. Our guides are all highly qualified and registered with appropriate bodies. They are all
passionate about sport fishing within Africa, are keen environmentalists with a wealth of experience.

8. Accommodation
African Waters camps and lodges are a mixture of seasonal tented camps, permanent lodge, and
liveaboard yachts.

9. Luggage Allowance
Clients are allowed one bag weighing up to 25kg. This must be a barrel bag, or internal frame
backpack. One small daypack and camera bag will be allowed. If charter flights are used, specific
restrictions may apply.

10. Tackle
Recommended tackle list will be sent out on booking with comprehensive pre-trip info packet. All
tackle can be ordered and supplied through the African Waters outfitting service, and either delivered
to guests preferred address, or to camp, prior to guests’ arrival.

11. Spending Money
Different trips require different amounts of spending money, depending on the length and nature of
the trip and the clients’ individual needs. Spending money may be needed for meals en route on the
first and last days of the tour, alcohol and soft drinks, tackle, boarding fees, visa’s, airport taxes,
transfers, tips and additional excursions not included in the tour price. Please check your Tour Info
Sheet for details on what is included and excluded in your trip.

12. Tips
Suggested tipping advise will be included in your Tour Voucher and is tour specific.

13. Kit List and Instructions
On confirmation of booking a detailed kit list and tackle list will be sent to the client. The list will
supply you with a guide as to what to bring, tackle requirements and travel info, as well as other
useful information. All clients will also receive a Tour Voucher prior to your tour dates.

14. Acceptance and Booking Contract
A contract between African Waters and the client will only be deemed to be concluded once the client
has paid their deposit. The place of conclusion of the contact will always be taken as South Africa and
any claim or actions brought against African Waters can only be made under South African
jurisdiction.

15. Authority on Tour

15.1 The client acknowledges that African Waters shall appoint a tour leader, the decisions of who
shall be final and binding at all times.
15.2 The client must at all times comply with the laws, customs and the foreign exchange regulations
of all countries visited
15.3 If the client is in contravention of the above, African Waters may order the client to leave the
tour without any refund. In these circumstances the client will be obliged to make their own way
home at their own expense

16. Force Majeure
Unforeseen circumstances including weather, road conditions, war, riots and other reasons beyond
the control of African Waters may cause delays or alterations to the tour. In the event of any of the
aforementioned occurring, African Waters shall not be held liable in any way for any resulting costs of
these delays or alterations.

17. Flight Schedule Changes
African Waters, its agents and affiliates, take no responsibility for change in international and local
flight schedules. We strongly advise all guests taking out travel insurance when they book their trips.

18. Exclusion of Liability
18.1 Client bookings are accepted on the understanding by the client that all tours are of an
adventurous nature and involve an element of personal risk which is an inherent part of international
travel.
18.2 Clients undertake all tours entirely at their own risk and while African Waters takes
every precaution to ensure the safety of clients, no responsibility can be accepted for any death,
injury or loss which might occur to such clients, sustained from any cause whatsoever
18.3 The client and his/her dependents, heirs, executors, administrators or assigns, hereby
indemnify and hold blameless, African Waters, its members, employees, representatives and agents
from any claims of whatsoever nature and from any liability for delay, loss, damage, injury, illness or
death, arising from any cause whatsoever out events related to or occurring during a tour.
