Mpata Safari Lodge

Located in the very heart of the Mara Triangle, Mpata Safari Lodge was constructed in 1992 on a choice site astride a plateau gently sloping down towards a rugged, well-defined escarpment. The lodge boasts a majestic panorama of Masai Mara as well as a large outdoor private pool. Mpata Safari Lodge features 23 state-of-the-art designed cottages spread on both sides of the centrally placed common club-house parallel to the escarpment. There are 11 suite and 12 deluxe rooms, each with interlocking curves that separate the bedroom and bathroom before opening to the enticing veranda.

With emphasis on comfort and a unique combination of interior design, the suite rooms have a sitting room, kitchenette and, best of all, an outdoor Jacuzzi.

Western food served with table d'hote is the onsite restaurant's standard. A variety of drinks such as local beers, wines, original cocktails, soft drinks and mineral water can be served from the main bar and baboon bar. Mpata Safari Lodge also features a swimming pool for guests to enjoy a col dip on those hot afternoons and a gist shop for African souverniers.

Nature walks, Maasai Village Visists, Hot Air Balloon Safari and Masai Weddings are vents that can be organised by the lodge's management.
A return airstrip transfer to the Mara, laundry/dry cleaning, car-hire and storage facilities can be arranged for guests upon request. Babysitting and safety deposit boxes are also available. The premises are guarded round the clock and onsite parking space is ample.

Mpata Safari Lodge is situated in the Maasai Mara National Reserve close to Oloololo Gate. The lodge is a 15km drive from Kichwa Tembo Airstrip.
