White Sands is known for its elaborate mix and fusion of international and local cuisine. The resort offers four restaurants and bars; one such establishment is the Mchanga Café and Bar which is situated on the main beach and enjoys wonderful sea views of the Indian Ocean and the small outlying islands. The resort also organises regular culinary-themed dinner buffets under the stars and is well known for its Saturday evening seafood buffet.

The resort has regular live entertainment performances from local live bands to traditional dancers.
